Louisville, on the first Saturday in May, is the center of the world! It is an incredible time to be in the city and over 150,000 people come, from all over, to be a part of it. In September 2008, Louisville will also be the center of the Golfing world as we host the Ryder Cup!
During these high demand periods, hotel rooms are scarce and very expensive. Often, renting a high quality private home is more affordable option. Our homes provide the luxury of expansive living space, full kitchens, great locations and the ability to entertain clients, guests and groups of 2 to 200.
RentmyHouse4Derby is the premier site for high quality homes in Louisville. We offer a wide variety of unique accommodations, from urban lofts, to historic mansions, to contemporary high end homes within walking distance of Valhalla Golf Club (site of the 2008 Ryder Cup). RentmyHouse4Derby Policies:
1. Unless specifically stated otherwise in the listing, all homes are non-smoking.
2. No pets may be brought to any home unless specifically allowed by the homeowner.
3. All keys must be left at the home in the designated location (typically, the kitchen counter/table)
4. Only registered renters may sleep in the homes, the total number of overnight guests cannot exceed the “sleeps” number in the home listing.
5. All homes are subject to prior rental or removal from the rental pool until a contract is signed and deposit is paid
6. To secure the rental of any home, the contract must be signed and returned to our office along with 50% of the total home rental. The remaining 50% and security deposit must be paid in full 30 prior to the rental period. Payment may be made by check or money order.
7. A Security deposit equal to one night’s rental (for US residents) or 50% of the total rental cost (for non-US residents) will be held in escrow by RentmyHouse4Derby until the completion of the rental period. If premises are vacated in undamaged condition, all of security deposit will be promptly returned.
8. Rentals arranged less than 30 days prior to the rental period must be paid in full on return of the signed contract by bank draft or cashier’s check.
Every RentmyHouse4Derby home is unique, many offer ultra luxurious amenities, such as private pools, massage rooms, grills, decks, hot tubs, etc. (individual listings will list special amenities).
All of our homes include:
Clean, high quality sheets, towels and linens sufficient for the listed number of guests
Plates, cups, glassware, cutlery for at least the listed number of guests
Basic pots, pans and standard cooking tools
Clean, functioning kitchen appliances including, at the very least: cook top, oven, refrigerator, freezer space, microwave, and dishwasher
Coffeemaker with coffee, sugar, milk
Fresh soap in all baths
